Gareth
Gareth grew up on the coast line of Durban, South Africa. After completing a degree in Graphic Design, he strayed from his original career path and opted to travel around the United States working in hospitality. Seeking more excitement, Gareth made the transition to the Yachting Industry, and hasn’t looked back since. During his time on the water, he has crossed the Atlantic Ocean Thirteen times, including a three month South Atlantic crossing on a thirty foot sailing catamaran from South Africa to the islands of the Caribbean. Recently, Gareth decided to change things up a little and ventured to the Australian outback where he worked on the Great Barrier Reef, acquiring a greater understanding for his underwater pets and marine life. With a new energy and focus, Gareth is back in yachting for his thirteenth year and is thoroughly enjoying living and working on the water. The lure of travel has kept him on his toes, and this adrenaline seeker always has his sights on his next adventure!
Brendon
Brendon, a passionate South African with a deep connection to the ocean, grew up driving boats and spearfishing along the coast. His love for the sea naturally led him to pursue a career in yachting, where he has spent the past 1½ years aboard Too Shallow. With a trade school background and qualifications as an electrician, Brendon brings a strong technical skill set to his role onboard. Brendon is also an avid kite-surfer and is always eager to make the most of his time on the water. Brendon’s blend of practical experience and enthusiasm for the ocean drives his success in this dynamic industry.

Dirk, who grew up in Welkom, South Africa, is a dynamic and motivated professional with a passion for high-end hospitality and a love for adventure. A natural thrill seeker, Dirk thrives in fast-paced environments that demand creativity, problem-solving skills, and a keen eye for detail. His extroverted nature and adaptability allow him to connect with people easily, fostering positive relationships and creating memorable experiences. With over six years of hands-on experience in high-end spa management, he has successfully launched two brand-new spas, creating luxurious environments focused on guest satisfaction. Having dedicated his career to exceptional service and fostering a strong team spirit, Dwayne has transitioned into the Superyacht industry, bringing three years of experience working on vessels ranging from 50 to 75 meters. His meticulous attention to detail and expertise in fine dining and housekeeping ensure that every onboard experience is both seamless and luxurious. Luc hails from sunny South Africa and has always had a passion for travel, the sea, and water activities. This made pursuing a career in yachting a natural choice for him. Shortly after finishing high school, Luc took the leap into the industry and has never looked back. From the very beginning, he has thoroughly enjoyed his role as a deckhand, particularly during excursions throughout the Caribbean Islands. Nick is a yachting professional from the Czech Republic with over 25 years of experience sailing the Mediterranean and Caribbean. As both an engineer and a captain, he knows yacht systems inside and out, ensuring every trip goes smoothly and safely. His extensive experience in chartering allows him to create unique, unforgettable experiences for guests, whether it’s exploring hidden coves, tasting local food, or diving in amazing locations. A licensed scuba diver, Nick has explored some of the world’s most famous dive spots and loves sharing his passion for the underwater world with others.
